When I became pregnant with twins in my early thirties, I developed pregnancy-induced hypothyroidism. After giving birth prematurely and dealing with the stress of moving, my hormones spiraled out of control. Even after my thyroid was treated, I still felt exhausted, depressed, and anxious.
Doctors couldn’t pinpoint the issue until a specialist diagnosed me with premature perimenopause along with my adrenals needing much-needed support.
Thanks to diet and lifestyle changes, I reversed my symptoms and became the mom and wife I wanted to be. Now, as I transition into menopause, my symptoms are minimal, thanks to the right foods, nutritional supplements, and herbs.
